Pillole d'Arte: Piero Gilardi

Gilardi is an international artist who started working in the 1960s with the group Arte Povera and Pop Art carring on following his instinct and creating a link between the different generations of artists.He entered the collection of the gallery after the show dedicated to Mondino in 2005 in a moment of great success for the artist.His artworks are ieces of bushes, forests and part of nature to show inside a house inside vitrines. Inside his Plexiglas boxes a piece of nature as realistic as possible, flowers, rocks, small rivers, etc. The idea given is that is not a representation of nature but it is real nature to be put in a domestic environment.
